About
Introducing Ledo Pizza Derwood, MD, a beloved local gem nestled at 7213 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD. This popular establishment is renowned for its unique take on pizza that has endeared itself to many Maryland residents. Known for its consistent quality and fresh ingredients, Ledo Pizza has rightfully earned a reputation as the go-to place for pizza lovers.
One of the standout features of Ledo Pizza is its distinctive rectangular cut, a hallmark of Maryland-style pizza. Customers like Mel Koberle rave about the crispy texture and hint of sweetness in the flaky crust, which sets it apart from traditional round pizzas. Add in the delicious and generous toppings, and you find yourself savoring a slice that truly embodies the charm of Maryland culinary traditions. Each order is prepared to perfection, with consistent flavor that loyal customers, like Rita Whittaker, have come to expect time and time again.
But what’s pizza without some wings? The menu at Ledo Pizza Derwood also boasts jumbo wings that have drawn enthusiastic praise from customers such as Heather Welliver. These wings are crispy and packed with flavor, making them the perfect complement to your pizza order. Whether you prefer mild or spicy, each wing here is cooked to golden perfection, hinting at the restaurant's commitment to quality.
The atmosphere in Ledo Pizza Derwood is equally inviting. As M L T points out, the staff is friendly, ensuring that your dining experience is relaxed and enjoyable. The restaurant maintains a cozy vibe that feels like home, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Plus, with a selection of light beers on tap, it’s a great spot to unwind with a cold drink alongside your meal.
However, be prepared for popularity; during peak hours, parking can be a bit tricky—though there's additional space behind the restaurant. Whether you're picking up a quick dinner or ordering for a larger group, Ledo Pizza Derwood is a dependable choice that consistently delivers on taste and quality.
In essence, if you’re in Derwood and looking for a slice of happiness—be it their acclaimed pizza or mouthwatering wings—Ledo Pizza should definitely be on your culinary radar!
“ We picked up our pizza. It’s always consistent and fresh. This is everyone’s favorite pizza in our household. The crust, sauce and topping are all great. Ledo’s has never messed up my order. I wish I could say the same about their competitors ”
“ The pizza is one of a kind, but don't skip the wings. They are delicious! ”
“ First timer here! After moving to maryland 5 years ago I have finally eaten Ledo pizza. Jumbo wings Are Jumbo crispy and delicious. I ordered the veggie and my souse got the Hawaiian. Both came out quick, crispy and cut in little rectangles. It reminds me of the pizza from Stained Glasss, we now refer to this as Maryland pizza. It is def its own type, but really good. The bread is a little flaky with a hint of sweetness. ”
“ I’m really going to miss this place! This is my go-to place for pizza and feeding a large group of people who know how to eat. No complaints on their pizza. When I arrived there the pizza wasn’t ready so I waited in my car. The dude at the cash register was generous and brought the 3 pizzas out to my car. The parking can be full up front but there’s parking in the back of the restaurant. During rush hour (making a left) good luck. It’s finding a needle in a haystack if you get lucky doing that. Thanks for being the memories! ”
“ Consistently good pizza. Staff is friendly and it's a relaxed atmosphere. Wings are also good. They have beer on tap but all 3 selections are light beers. ”
“ This Ledo is much better than the one in Montgomery Village, so we only order from here now. Even though I'm a thick crust pizza dude the amount of stuff they put on them offsets their lack of a thick, chewy crust. ”
“ Yummy pizza, we definitely enjoyed the pizza we ordered and the ambiance of the store. We had good experience in here. ”
“ If you're from Maryland and have never tried Ledo's Pizza, you need to leave the state LOL! I kid, but seriously you're missing out. My only real suggestion is to not overload your pie with toppings. The pizza is square, and cut into smaller squares, that means only the outer pieces have a crust to hold. If your pie is overloaded with toppings, it will make the center pieces seem like a casserole. The fried ravioli is a tasty appetizer. The parking lot looks narrow and small, but there's more parking in the back. ”
